The Opportunity:
As a Customer Service Assistant with Roehl Transport, you play a key part in our mission of delivering “confidence and satisfaction” to our customers. In this position, you will:

• Schedule pick up and delivery appointments for freight while taking into account factors such as customer requirements, legal transit time, driver productivity, etc.
• Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, email, and other forms of communication
• Work collaboratively with Roehl teammates to identify and resolve customer and scheduling conflicts
• Maintain accurate notes regarding customer interactions and preferred scheduling protocols

The Experience:
This position requires no prior transportation experience. We are looking for someone with:

• At least 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative, or office setting
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations
• Effective communication skills with a diverse audience via phone, email and through websites
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to work with dual-screen computer monitors

The Wage:
You will earn a competitive hourly rate and participate in two monthly bonus opportunities. Additionally, you are eligible for medical, dental, 401k, profit sharing, and paid time off. We even offer tuition reimbursement if you are interested in advancing your education.
