The Opportunity:
Now is your chance to help move America's freight as a Parts/Service Writer in Gary, IN with Roehl Transport, a Forbes Magazine Best Mid-Sized Employer, and an ATA Presidents' Award-winning carrier! In this role you are on the front lines! You will provide support for Drivers and Technicians with parts and Service Writing for preventative maintenance service, scheduled repairs, and emergency repairs to our tractors and trailers. You will troubleshoot and diagnose issues, make good decisions under pressure, prioritize tasks, and use your strong technical knowledge to perform your job successfully. You will work closely with parts vendors to procure parts in a timely manner.

Additionally, you will need to possess experience and knowledge of preventative maintenance, shop operations, parts department, and documentation. Our environment is exciting and dynamic. Therefore, you must accept change and adapt quickly to new situations and professionally cope with changing job demands. You will also need basic knowledge and experience working with computers for diagnostic resources and repair order entry.

The Schedule:
Monday through Friday 3:00PM to 11:30 PM
The Wage:
You will receive a competitive hourly wage, variable compensation bonus, medical, dental, 401k, profit sharing, and Paid Time Off, $3.00 per hour differential pay with this schedule.
