The Opportunity:
As a Senior BI Architect with TeamRoehl, you make a difference by designing, developing, and implementing innovative data architecture and solutions that provide deep value to our Roehl team members and drivers. You will be a key technical leader, designing and optimizing critical infrastructure, ETL processes and data retrieval methodologies to create and deliver high-value Roehl information assets. You will create and align a lean and modern BI technology stack that provides current and future capabilities that unlock additional analytical value for Roehl business users and customers.    You will be a key leader in helping to define and execute our Power BI Cloud strategy.  This technical leader will be on the front line of striving for modern data practices inside and outside of the BI team.

Roehl Transport is a data rich environment! Our 2,000+ tractors and 5,000+ trailers are generating hundreds of data points per mile. The Experience:
This is a senior-level opportunity. This generally means that you have:

• Expert level SQL Skills
• Multiple years working in a senior technical role, designing solutions and implementing core architecture for data warehouse environments
• 2 or more years of experience developing within a modern information stack
• Deep understanding of relational and dimensional data models and metadata practices
• Deep understanding of data governance practices
• Understanding of Agile development practices
• Understanding of secure data handling practices
• Experience with the Microsoft stack, utilizing SQL Server and T-SQL is highly preferred
• Cloud Experience is desired, Azure preferred
• Experience with modern visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience with Angular or similar web development platforms is a plus
• Experience with Azure data pipelines is a plus
• Experience with Snowflake is a plus
