The Job:

As a Fleet Manager you make a difference by leading and developing a group of 35-45 drivers. You boldly lead your fleet in achieving safety and our service, revenue and retention goals. As a leader you develop strong relationships with your drivers, anticipate needs, take proactive steps to ensure positive outcomes, manage performance and champion our values. This is incredibly rewarding work that will provide you with a high level of personal and professional satisfaction.

You create Driver Success by:
  • Seeing your drivers as unique and special individuals who are separate from the equipment that they operate
  • Meeting their personal needs by using the Key Principles in your interactions
  • Meeting their practical needs by helping them earn a good income, setting expectations, teaching, providing feedback, coaching and other developmental leadership
  • Respecting their time by making sure their time at work is effectively utilized every day

Our industry is very dynamic and no two days are the same. That is one of the reasons we love what we do! You will also need to be a pro at analyzing, anticipating, and evaluating problems, solutions, and situations in order to draw logical conclusions and make well informed decisions.

As a leader of people it is critical that you are able to effectively empathize, be a solid communicator, a first rate listener, and possess a high level of self-awareness.

The Experience:

This is an intermediate level position that requires proven leadership experience. No transportation experience is necessary. We will provide you with comprehensive training! This is a great opportunity for someone who has been working in retail management and are interested in making a career change.

The Schedule:

We currently have two options available for a schedule. One is Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and the other is a unique 7 days on 7 days off schedule. You start your work week on Thursday and it ends the following Wednesday. You then have the next 7 days off! You qualify for full time pay and benefits. How cool is that?
