The Job:

As a Capacity Planner you make a difference by planning the drivers within your Market on customer freight that will maximize the productive use of their available hours of service, meet our customers expectations for on time pickup and delivery, limits the amount of unbilled miles, and accommodates drivers hometime requests. You will work very closely with your Market Owner to identify strategic freight flows and specific Market needs, with your Customer Service Representative to secure ample freight to meet the demand of the drivers in the Market, with your Customer Service Assistant to ensure that pick up and delivery appointments are set to maximize driver productivity, and with Fleet Managers to facilitate effective communication regarding driver productivity and customers' service expectations.

You create Driver Success by planning our drivers on safe and highly productive freight that helps them to earn a good living.

As a Capacity Planner it is critical that you are able to effectively empathize, be a solid communicator, a first rate listener, and posses a high level of self-awareness.


The Experience:

This is an intermediate to advanced level position that requires 3-4 years of transportation experience preferably working in a freight planning capacity with an over-the-road carrier.
