The Opportunity:
As a Senior Application Developer, you make a difference by creating, maintaining, and optimizing source code for large web service and web applications using Roehl’s chosen technologies. You will use your technical expertise to participate in peer discussions on architecture and overall direction for Roehl application development, then help design and build the next generation of enterprise applications to replace our legacy systems. You will also mentor junior team members so that they may develop their skills.

The Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems and/or 4-7 years of experience managing development resources
• 4+ years direct experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management.
• Proven experience in the development and implementation of software solutions.
• Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
• Technically fluent in .NET framework and development.
• Good project management skills and/or substantial exposure to project-based work structures, project lifecycle models, etc.
• Knowledge of database design and file management techniques.
• Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems.
• Knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
