The Opportunity:

As a Fleet Manager with Roehl Transport, you lead a fleet of up to 45 drivers and support their ability to be productive, safe, and deliver flawless service to our customers. The work you do helps our drivers succeed, contributing to retaining the safest, most professional drivers in the industry. In this role, you will:

• Assist drivers with their work assignments, questions, and issues as they arise
• Advocate for the drivers while interacting professionally with other departments within Roehl
• Coach and mentor drivers on safety incidents and initiatives
• Promote retention of company drivers thorough open communication, positive relationships, and accountability
• Monitor and adjust driver schedules and work load

The Experience:
This position requires no prior transportation experience. We are looking for someone with:

• 1-2 years of management experience in customer service, retail, restaurant, and/or hospitality industry
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Effective communication skills with a diverse audience via phone, email and text
• Ability to work with dual-screen computer monitors
